Crochet a Flat Circle Coaster – Free Pattern
This pattern is suitable for beginners and can be customized with different colors and yarn types to create a personalized coaster.

Abbreviations:

Instructions:
Round 1: Make a magic ring (or ch 4 and sl st to first ch to form a ring).
Round 2: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), work 6 sc into the ring. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (6 sc)
Round 3: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), 1 sc in the same st, 2 sc in each of the next 5 st. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (12 sc)
Round 4: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st β repeat around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (18 sc)
Round 5: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in each of the next 2 st, 2 sc in next st β repeat around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (24 sc)
Round 6: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in each of the next 3 st, 2 sc in next st β repeat around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (30 sc)
Round 7: Ch 1 (counts as first sc), 1 sc in the same st, 1 sc in each of the next 4 st, 2 sc in next st β repeat around. Join with a sl st to the first sc. (36 sc)
Continue increasing in this manner, adding one more single crochet between increases in each round until your coaster reaches the desired size.
Finishing: Once your coaster has reached the desired size, you can finish it off. Cut the yarn, leaving a tail, and pull the tail through the last loop to secure. Weave in any loose ends using a yarn needle.
