Trunk:

Row 1: With brown yarn, ch 6, hdc in the 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Turn. (5 hdc)

Row 2: Ch 1, hdc in each stitch across. Turn. (5 hdc)

Repeat Row 2 until the trunk is the desired length (about 1 inch or as you prefer). Fasten off.

Assembly:

  1. Attach the trunk to the bottom of the tree.
  2. Weave in any remaining ends.
  3. Optional: Add a small amount of stuffing to the tree before closing the top.
